service in the computer terminal market. Esprit
is based in Fremont California. Research and Development takes place close to
offshore manufacturing facilities. Marketing, sales and service is located at
the corporate headquarters in Fremont. Manufacturing is centered at various production
facilities around the globe. Final assembly and product modifications are performed
in California and through international representatives.
Esprit
products are marketed worldwide through distributors and original
equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The distributor network, both in
the United States and around the world, stocks standard products
and resells them to value added resellers, computer dealers, corporations
and institutions. For OEMs sales to computer manufacturers and system
integrators, Esprit provides products modified to meet customer
requirements. Esprit offers comprehensive marketing support for
its resellers including product advertising and promotion, cooperative
marketing, tradeshow participation, product customization and outstanding
